Our Client based in North Dublin is currently seeking for a Quality Systems Co-Ordinator in a food production environment.
Hours are Thursday Friday Saturday 7.30-19.30 Salary on offer €35K The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining and updating the factorys internal quality system, maintaining our external BRC, FDA and RSPO quality accreditations, together with other various supermarket standards applicable to the factory.
They will also have to interact with external regulatory authorities, including the HSE.
They will have to become familiar with the quality assurance technician operation within the factory and provide holiday and sickness cover as required.
What You will Do Carry out internal audits against BRC and supermarket quality standards Work with relevant Departments to address and close out non-conformances arising from these audits Prepare, manage and participate in third party site audits, including HSE audits, and address and close out non-conformances arising from these audits within the given time-frame Keep abreast of legislation and regulations affecting the site Ensure site compliance with food safety procedures at all times Support and encourage continuous improvement across the site Complete customer documentation and questionnaires as required Raise and investigate internal non-conformances against raw material suppliers as required and follow up on the close out of these non-conformances Train staff and factory personnel as required against Food Safety and other manufacturing standards.
Implement new training protocols as required.
Daily monitoring of hygiene in all production areas, driving high standard of GMP Carry out internal GMP audits daily Management of nutritional testing schedule Preparation of samples for external nutritional testing requirements in line with global and customer standards, following up with results.
Involvement in issuing quality reports, customer complaints and QA stock investigation, preparation of samples for external microbiological analysis Assist in ensuring that quality site and department KPIs are achieved and maintained Work collaboratively and effectively with people across the organisation What You will Have Experience working in an accredited food production facility is preferred.
