As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Geo team is focused on building the most accurate, comprehensive, and useful maps for our users, through products like Maps, Earth, Street View, Google Maps Platform, and more. Every month, more than a billion people rely on Maps services to explore the world and navigate their daily lives.
The Geo team also enables developers to use the power of Google Maps platforms to enhance their apps and websites. Responsibilities:Manage large technical projects from concept to launch under limited guidance. Develop and coordinate realistic project estimates, plans, or metrics.Develop simple to complex queries/scripts (Google SQL, Python) and dashboards. Work and communicate effectively with Engineering, Product Management, QA, Operations, and other stakeholders.Monitor, measure, and communicate project progress, potential risks/delays and team performance to program teams, executives, and other sponsors.Build scalable and intelligent technical and operational solutions to produce large volumes of high-quality data that powers Google Maps.Create compelling presentations on data initiatives and measurements, and communicate to a broad audience.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
