Technical Support Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a motivated and skilled candidate to join their team as a Technical Support Engineer. Our client is looking for individuals with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and who want to grow within the organisation. You will be joining a well-established team that will provide support and training.
ResponsibilitiesProvide L1 technical support to customers in a professional and friendly manner – answering support requests by phone, email, live chat, and onsite.Troubleshoot and quickly diagnose issues remotely and onsite.Monitor system alert tickets and be proactive in remediation of issues.Document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledge base articles.Actively seek opportunities to improve our IT operations and our client's systems.Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to ensure a seamless customer experience.Record timesheets and job cards accurately.Comply with the Company Health & Safety requirements.Essential Requirements:Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have a good understanding of networking and SQL (MSSQL preferably).Must have a full clean EU driver's licence.A service-oriented attitude – you do what it takes to get the job done correctly.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Desirable but not Essential:Experience supporting server infrastructure (Windows or Linux), Microsoft 365, VoIP, and network infrastructure is a major plus.Experience working in an MSP would be an advantage.
