Technical Support Engineer Our technologies are used in a wide range of sectors, including electronics, medical research, renewable energy, food production, and infrastructure. The Technical Support Engineer's responsibilities include providing world-class technical assistance for Atlas Copco products in Ireland.
The role: Provide nationwide technical support to both external and internal customers, including responding to technical queries.
Provide remote support for commissioning and updates of Optimizer projects.
Provide spare part enquiry support and training.
Provide administrative cover for distributor work in progress during administrator absences.
Monitor the Technical Support phone line.
Monitor the Technical Support call database (Local myQUEST).
Monitor, analyse and review Product Company (PG) warranty claims and enquiries.
Monitor, analyse and review Diswant claims and enquiries.
Engineering Change Bulletin (ECB) distribution and follow up.
Review the Monitoring Room Tickets and follow up.
Training Plan Management for Field Service Engineers (FSEs)
Undertake technical investigations to resolve product issues.
Liaise with the product company to obtain information and provide feedback to enable product improvements to be made.
To provide product training to both internal and external customers.
Undertake ad-hoc projects as required with our capital divisions.
To succeed, you will need: Experience of working within the mechanical and/or electrical engineering environment
Willing to travel around Ireland when required.
Willing to travel overseas for trainings.
Excellent administrative skills and a self-motivator with a flexible attitude
Experience working within a high-pressured environment (desired)
