As a technical writer, you'll be responsible for writing API, CLI, and technical feature documentation for developers building on the Wix platform–whether they're creating apps for the Wix app market, customizing Wix sites with code, or developing headless sites and apps.
In your day to day, you'll:
Collaborate closely with Wix engineers while testing and documenting new dev featuresReview API design, refine API naming, and write detailed API reference documentationWrite tutorials, procedures, and readmes, providing developers with end-to-end guides on how to build on WixEdit CLI and error messages, ensuring a consistent developer experienceRequirementsDegree in computer science or related field1+ year of development experience, preferably in web development1+ year of writing experience, such as technical writing, knowledge base writing, or blog writingIndependent learner capable of understanding and documenting complex technical features with minimal input from subject matter expertsSelf-motivated and result-driven writer with exceptional attention to detailAbility to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing development environmentExcellent communicator with strong proficiency in both spoken and written EnglishAbout the TeamWe are Wix's Tech Writers Guild.
