Test Engineer - Manual (€33k-€40k DOE) Charleville, Cork, Ireland - Hybrid As a manual test engineer, you should be conducting manual tests to ensure software created by the developers is fit for purpose.
You should perform tests to ensure that the program functions properly, to identify any errors and to investigate customer complaints and any other operational issues.
Your roles & responsibilities include: Define test plan for products and new features as well as being able to execute test plans and create test reports.
Be able to manage release of software and work with Product Management to understand requirement definitions.
Configure and manage Linux servers like Redhat.
Proficient experience and understanding of virtual systems (Windows Server 2008/12/16 or VMWare) and be able to configure and manage test PCs for the validation team.
The ideal candidate should have/be able to: Experience with Test management tools like JIRA.
Report writing and report trend analysis.
Experience with networking (routing/DNS etc.).
Hands-on experience with Python.
Test methodologies effectively.
ISTQB Certification.
Experience Requirements include: 2-4 years of manual testing experience with relevant technologies.
