Job Specification Title: Senior Financial Analyst My client, a leading energy supply and services provider, based in South Dublin is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Marketing, Risk & Regulations team.
This role reports to the Director of Markets, Risk & Regulation.
This is a hybrid role offering a strong benefits package.
The Job: Analyse data to find ways to grow sales, reduce losses, and protect revenue.
Collaborate with stakeholders to create data/system solutions that meet business needs.
Track energy and commodity markets to help with pricing and product development.
Manage renewable electricity supply, including purchasing and certification (training provided).
Create and implement risk management and hedging strategies.
Provide market insights, trends, and detailed commentaries.
Help automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
The Person: ACA or ACCA qualification, 5 years post-qualification experience, ideally in an analytical accounting role within the utilities sector.
Experienced self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential).
Knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, and SQL Skilled in managing large, complex datasets.
Interest in energy trends with the ability to analyse and communicate key insights.
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
Motivated, adaptable, and able to handle changing workloads.
Positive attitude, organised, and deadline-focused.
Energy sector experience is helpful but not required.
