Transport Planner

What Will Your Day To day Look Like Customer liaison to include arranging outbound deliveries, pricing of jobs and Portal Management.
Entering and updating jobs on to the company system.
Ensuring all Transport related costs are recorded, and weekly billing details updated.
Resolve delivery and collection issues in the most efficient way possible whilst always maintaining the highest level of service.
Preparing any transport jobs and paperwork as and when required.
Driver liaison and delivery confirmation.
You will work with all our Transport suppliers and have a close working relationship with them all.
You will check discrepancies and follow up with the relevant people.
You will assist where necessary in any ad hoc duties.
Ensure the companies policies are always adhered to.
Identify problems early and respond in a timely manner.
Always work collaboratively and cooperatively with colleagues.
What Skills Are Required Ideally you will have experience in planning and delivering white goods and multi planning experience.
Your experience is best placed in Transport Planning and administration in Ireland.
You will have a strong geographical knowledge of Ireland.
You will have Microsoft office experience to include excel spreadsheets.
You will always communicate with courtesy.
You will have the ability to work efficiently under a high-pressure transport environment.
You will be a good communicator both written and verbal - actively listening, questioning, expressing yourself clearly & concisely.
You will have great Customer Service skills.
You will have a positive "can do" attitude, interpersonally effective with the ability to influence people positively.
You will be approachable to all colleagues.
You will have a keen eye for detail.
You will be a strong team player.
You will have a positive and proactive approach to work.  You will have 2 years' experience in transport planning and administration within a company based in      Ireland.
You must have the ability to deal with queries and issues that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
