Utilities Electrical Engineer - PipelineJoin a leading biopharmaceutical company as a Utilities Electrical Engineer, driving the reliability, compliance, and performance of critical utilities systems. This role is integral to maintaining safety, quality, and equipment reliability while fostering a lean, data-driven approach to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Lead development and optimization of utilities maintenance strategies.Provide frontline engineering support for systems like boilers, chillers, HVAC, and electrical distribution (10kV & LV).Troubleshoot and resolve issues in electrical systems, life safety systems, and utility controls.Enhance equipment reliability through data-driven methodologies and performance monitoring.Collaborate with SMEs, operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Drive vendor engagement, SLA development, and training initiatives for operations teams.Develop and manage PMs, job plans, and KPIs to track and optimize utility system performance.Qualifications & Skills: Experience: Minimum 5 years in utilities within a regulated manufacturing setting (preferably biopharmaceuticals).Education: Electrical Trade Qualification or Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering.Proficiency in control systems, safety circuitry, and CMMS.Background in OPEX, lean principles, reliability engineering, and maintenance management.Familiarity with regulatory standards (cGMP, safety).Strong technical and organizational skills, with a safety-first mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.The Next Step for you: Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Barry O'Mahony from Next Generation Recruitment or alternatively call on the main line on 016629120.
