Validation Microbiologist My client, a leading contract laboratory, is looking to recruit an experienced Validation Microbiologist to provide the highest level of expertise to their Microbiology team. The Validation Microbiologist will work as part of a collaborative and innovative team dedicated to excellence in service delivery. Duties & Responsibilities: The Validation Microbiologist will report to the Director of Microbiology and will be Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the microbiology laboratory in MedPharma.Responsible for method validation, method transfer, method verification, method development, and experimental design and liaising with customers on the same.Troubleshooting with analysts to problem solve and communicate with stakeholders.Lead microbiology analysts for method development and validation of new products for microbiological testing.Initiate and/or implement changes to controlled documents. Prepare or review protocols and validation reports.Participate in regulatory and customer audits.Evaluate lab practices for compliance and operational excellence improvement.Provide technical guidance to the microbiological team and project stakeholders.Represent the department/organization on various occasions.Interact with outside resources.Compliance with ISO 17025, INAB requirements, and the clients' internal quality and technical procedures.Assisting the Quality Manager and deputy in maintaining the quality of tests carried out in the microbiology laboratory, results obtained, and all relating procedures, protocols, and records.Requirements: 3rd Level Science Qualification.3-5 years' experience within GMP Microbiology laboratory preferably or Validations.Strong organisational and leadership skills.Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivation whilst also being an effective team player.Effective communicator, both verbal and written.Capable of building strong relationships within a commercial operation and have an appreciation of business imperatives.Can demonstrate an ability to critically review analytical data; excellent attention to detail is a must.A professional, pro-active approach with influencing skills as well as an ability to work efficiently under pressure.
