We are currently seeking someone who is driven, motivated and business focused to join our International Trade team.
You will be part of an established team working directly with our Subject Matter Experts.
You will be responsible for supporting the team across a broad range of Trade Compliance aspects.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and create export and import declarationsEnsure all paperwork is received and completed accuratelyEscalate problems to your line manager where data is missing or incorrectProcess customs documents for import/exportSupport your line manager with daily admin tasksRecord and file all relevant information, documents and emailsAssist with monthly reports and retrieval of informationGeneral customs administrationInteract with clients to support with Customs Queries Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseStrong academic record/Relevant experiencePrevious customs clearance experience is a requirementExperience with Customs software such as Thyme IT, HMRC Customs Declarations Service (CDS) & Northern Ireland TSS systems is an advantageExperience with DAFM requirements is an advantageExperience in logistic/transport industry is an advantageMicrosoft Office SkillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsGood communication skills – both verbal and writtenConscientious about deadlines with excellent organisational abilityAbility to understand the longer-term strategies and shorter-term goals of the team BenefitsState of the art officeCentral locationCareer ProgressionTravel Green Allowance VoucherDigi DocAnnual Leave Purchase SchemeAdoptive Leave IncreaseTogether Anywhere LeaveBDO Learning & Development programmeCoverage of professional subscriptionIncome ProtectionBDO is an equal opportunities employer
