The Vulnerability and Exposure Management Lead will lead the organisations Vulnerability Management, Penetration Testing, Threat Intelligence and Evaluation, and Security Awareness programme. Responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities through threat intelligence, modelling and assessments, structured penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
In addition to leading testing efforts, this role will involve creating, executing, and managing a comprehensive security awareness program aimed at educating employees on cybersecurity risks, best practices, and compliance requirements. Main Responsibilities: Vulnerability Management and Penetration Testing Security Awareness Program Threat Management Governance, Risk, and Compliance Team Leadership and Development Cross Functional Collaboration Requirements The successful candidate will need: 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management and penetration testing, including software development life cycle testing, multiple cloud environments and on premise testing. Strong understanding of penetration testing methods and techniques with experience with cloud security and SaaS platforms Knowledge of vulnerability management platforms (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7) and creating / working in a vulnerability lifecycle process Experience of working with security awareness programs. Knowledge of security compliance and regulatory frameworks. Familiarity with common security standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, CIS, ISO 27001, MITRE).
The ability to translate technical findings into business terms and present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ability to manage stakeholders and drive risk reductions through vulnerability management.
Familiarity with wider cyber security and risk programmes including security incident response. Qualifications Relevant security certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CISM, GIAC GPEN) or demonstrable experience.
