Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our Arklow facility.
This role involves managing a team of 15+ staff, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring that their high standards of service, safety, and efficiency are maintained.
There is a competitive salary of 55-65k DOE, company pension and staff benefits and a positive and vibrant working environment Salary: 55-65k DOE Key Responsibilities: Oversee the general management of the warehouse, including staff supervision, workflow planning, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service, selection, loading, and compliance.
Plan and manage staff rotas and annual leave to ensure smooth operation.
Lead the execution of warehouse strategies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all staff are adequately trained on warehouse procedures.
Respond to and rectify any customer issues related to picking errors, labelling errors, or operational delays.
Maintain accurate records and update our in-house systems regularly.
Deputize for the Plant Manager as needed.
Requirements: Proven experience in a management role, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Flexibility to work closely with staff to maintain high performance levels.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and IT tools.
