Notice of Appropriate Assessment RequiredThe CRU has made a determination that an Appropriate Assessment is required in respect of a Section 39A consent application received from Gas Networks Ireland. The application relates to the construction of an underground transmission gas pipeline and a new Above Ground Installation ("AGI") at a customer's (Greener Ideas) premises at Monksland Business Park, Athlone, Co. Roscommon.
In line with the requirements under the European Communities (Birds and Natural Habitats) Regulations 2011 as amended, the CRU is seeking submissions or observations on the project by close of business Monday 16th December.
