LocationOffice Based, Rathfriland, County Down
General accounting duties including but not limited to:Daily Processing of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger (NI & ROI companies)Ensuring all bank accounts are reconciled daily.Preparing and submitting VAT returns in both NI and ROISupporting the preparation of monthly management accounts including, accruals, prepayment, and other standard journals.Providing additional ad hoc financial reporting support to meet the needs of the business.The PersonA minimum of 2 years' experience in a busy finance environmentStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent planning and organisational skills and ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with people both internally and externally.Ability to work on own initiative and within a team.Proficient in the use of Sage 50 accounts, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.The SalaryCompetitive and dependent on experience circa £26,000 to £30,000
