We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team here at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel.
You will play a key role in managing financial operations and supporting purchasing activities for the hotel and its associated entities: Dublin Royal Convention Centre, Old Town Café, Old Town Wine Bar and Valvaere Spa.
Key Responsibilities: Revenue Management: Download and review daily revenue reports from Opera Cloud, correct errors, and ensure accurate posting into iScala.
Purchasing & Invoices: Manage purchase orders, delivery dockets, and supplier invoices.
Ensure proper approval and match invoices to orders.
Work with department heads to resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Payable: Post invoices into iScala, ensuring accuracy in account codes and cost centres.
Monitor outstanding queries and maintain low levels of unposted invoices.
Supplier Management: Reconcile supplier statements, request missing documents, and maintain up-to-date creditor balances.
Assist with monthly payment processing and ensure all payments are correctly verified.
Reporting & Month-End: Assist with month-end tasks, including generating reports, posting direct debits, and reconciling company credit card statements.
Compliance & Auditing: Support external audits by maintaining organized records and ensuring compliance with all financial procedures.
Qualifications: Familiarity with Opera Cloud, iScala, and Procure Wizard (or similar systems) preferred, not necessary.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with multiple departments.
Basic understanding of accounting principles.
