Job Specification: U Value Insulation are now looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist.
Working closely with the Group Financial Controller & Finance team this is a broad hands-on role where your experience and value add skills should make a strong contribution to the U Value Insulation Finance team.
The role will focus on our distribution business and will include tasks such as, credit report checks, cash sales management, aged debtors reports, expense analysis and assisting in driving timely and accurate data, processes and controls.
Key Responsibilities: Set up new accounts for customers on Intact Credit report checks Post & allocation of payments Cash sales management Issue credit notes for cash sales/discount rebates Issue end of month statements Upload invoices and credit notes Debit notes treatment Major debtor remittance & treatment Issue major consolidated debtor statement Updates on aged debtors report as requested Invoice financing - uploads & drawdown Expense analysis Assist with, or assume responsibility for, other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the Group Financial Controller Applicants should: Possess 12 months experience ideally in an accounts receivable role.
Be results driven and have a proactive can do attitude.
Be able to deal with a large volume of transactions and tight deadlines.
Thrive in a busy, challenging and demanding environment.
Ability to find a positive solution while balancing different stakeholder needs.
Be open to challenge the status quo (i.e.
the current way that things are done).
Have strong attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information.
Have strong computer and analytical skills; this to include a high level of proficiency in excel.
Be used to working on their own initiative.
Possess a valid drivers licence.
