Accounts Technician - Maynooth, County Kildare Job Type:  Full Time - Permanent A five-star career awaits at Carton House.

We are currently hiring an  Accounts Technician  to join our Finance team on a permanent contract of  39 hours  at Carton House.
Key Responsibilities: Maintains profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts and other accounting records; Produces, collates and reports financial information for managers; Liaises with clients to ensure that payments are made on time and credit limits are not exceeded; Ensure invoices and payments are correct and sent out on time; Monitors accounting systems to determine accounts are being maintained affectively and provides information on accounting practices to auditors Key Requirements : Hotel accounts /bookkeeping background is essential.
Experience with Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable.
Strong IT skills in implementing and operating accounting software and front office systems.
Experience with Opera an advantage.
Full working knowledge of Microsoft excel, outlook and word.
Ability to work to tight deadlines, excellent attention to detail, have high initiative and be result focused with an ability to prioritise tasks.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
