As a result, our people get to enjoy working on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Job DescriptionAssistant Cost ManagerProvide support to the Finance/Commercial team (Cost Management Support and Cost Management Lead) in the monthly review of cost forecasts, actual costs, budgets for projects, payment applications, etc.Input into all aspects of the finance and commercial delivery through the application of sound cost management principles and practices.
Be an excellent written and verbal communicator, displaying a high level of numerical acumen with strong attention to detail.
On-going improvements and developments –?Support the team in managing the development of?Cost Reporting / Forecast tools, cost collection (time and expenses), maintenance of cost tools developed to date including:Sub contractor administration, purchase orders, etcCost data model of forecasts and benchmarksCost sheet Summary snapshot Technical Dashboard Report Analysis of sub projectsPayment application data Qualifications 2/3 years minimum relevant experienceMust hold at least a relevant Level 8 qualification as per the National framework of qualifications with 2/3 years post-graduation experience or relevant work experience.
Other Skills / Attributes?–?support development of continuous improvement of Cost / Finance and Project Control Procedures Alongside team.
