Bid Manager - Main Contractor

Job DescriptionOur client is an award-winning international Design & Build Consultancy and are seeking to appoint an experienced BID Manager with experience on Civils and Electrical projectsCreating and overseeing a bidManaging a detailed, costed, persuasive proposal.Bid coordinators and bid/proposal writing.Devising a successful strategy for winning a bid,Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid they are working on.Managing budgets and tracking costsNegotiating with specialist suppliers and/or subcontractorsResponding to clients' and other stakeholders' queries before, during and after the bid has been submittedOverseeing the team during the bid process and making sure deadlines are met.RequirementsExperience working on multi discipline projects.A Degree in Engineering or Management plus minimum 5 years post qualification experience within the industry would be a distinct advantage.Experience in LV electrical system and open to developing knowledge in MV/HVExcellent Commercial knowledge and understanding.Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office packages, including diagnostic skills.Ensure clear and appropriate goals are set; focus well on targets; demonstrate enthusiasm and drive to consistently deliver quality in performance.Ability to motivate and encourage others whilst taking the lead.PackageCompetitive Salary with company benefits including, bonus, pension, , medical allowance, professional membership, 27 days annual leaveThis role offers excellent advancement opportunities
