Business Development Manager - Ireland 12 Month Maternity Cover

Responsible for identifying new and existing business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with both existing and potential clients, driving revenue growth within a defined territory, the Business Development Manager will work closely with the Director of Ireland, the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies and tactics to achieve company goals and objectives.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Maintain and update the business CRM with regions pipeline.
Focus on maintaining and developing relationships with, acting as an account manager for the region.
Utilise relationships with clients in order to maximise retention within the region alongside the client success team.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
Conduct sales presentations and negotiations to secure new business deals and contracts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop and execute business development strategies.
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company and generate leads.
Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and business development techniques.
