Centre Coordinator Kcat Purpose of Post To support life long learning through the arts and to achieve a high quality of creative and personal development for all students and participants.
To uphold Camphill's Community ethos and values in the role of principle person responsible for the day to day management of KCAT.
Ensuring individuals supported by KCAT enjoy an environment that is safe and provide an excellent quality of learning where individuals achieve their ambitions.
Providing leadership to the Centre and line management to those working within the Community. Ensuring KCAT operates effectively and sustainably, building on Camphill's ethos to offer an inspiring model of social enterprise and community building Key Responsibilities The principal duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Governance and Leadership        Prepare and implement the annual service plan for KCAT, setting monthly goals and key target to progress the annual service plan.
      Report Monthly to line manager on status of all programmes, enrolment, finances, governance, stakeholder engagement, and progress on annual goals and KPIs.
      Support the development of KCAT and engage proactively with all stakeholders       Communicate effectively with CcoI management and colleagues on matters related to the development and operation of KCAT.
      Provide line management to those working in KCAT ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, resources and motivation to fulfil their responsibilities and are able to similarly manage and support members of their work group.        Implement and manage resources of KCAT collaboratively in accordance with the business plan and agreed policies and procedures.
      Prepare and oversee the management of grants and ensure expenditure meets the defined purpose of the grant       Make sure KCAT maintains excellent working relationships with funders and other stakeholders.
Ensure KCAT is compliant and demonstrates continuous improvement through review and audit.  Operational Management        Be accountable for the overall provision of service in line with the annual service plan, work collaboratively and ensure staff are supported to carry out their responsibilities.        Ensure the highest quality service is delivered in a way that is aligned to Camphill's ethos and values ensuring the KCAT has appropriate and up to date policies and procedures in place to meet organisational and regulatory requirements.        Effectively manage change; develop, implement and review plans with input from stakeholders       Ensure there is effective record-keeping, monitoring, reviewing and reporting in order to support the effective and orderly functioning of the KCAT and fulfil the reporting requirements of funders, regulators, and the Board.        Manage successful co-ordination of the delivery of educational and other programmes with participants, facilitators, and all staff.
      Deliver and oversee the administration of the educational offerings, including liaison with all facilitators, enrolled students, potential students, and supporting stakeholders.
      Engage together with learners and facilitators to co-create responsive learning paths for those individuals, providing them with advice and development options within the learning program and beyond, for progression possibilities.
      Have overall responsibility for the management of risk ensuring health and safety standards are always met.        Ensure KCAT investigates and respond to complaints, including adult and child protection concerns, in line with organisational policies and procedures.        Ensure a high-quality experience for participants, clarity of goals and aims through good quality assessments, plans, and reviews.
  Staffing        Ensure there are appropriate and effective systems in place for engagement and consultation in line with the management and participation structures of CcoI       Ensure the staffing levels and skills mix meet the needs of the Centre and review regularly and change them as and when necessary.
      To identify and address training needs.        Ensure staffing levels are driven primarily by the need to achieve quality of experience.
      Ensure recruitment and management is in line with legislative CcoI recruitment policies and procedures.        Ensure all staff receive regular supervision and annual appraisal.        Manage the resources available to the service in a manner which maximises efficiency and opportunities for learners and other participants in the KCAT programme   Financial Stewardship        Ensure appropriate accounting procedures and controls are in place and followed.        Participate in the development of the annual budget, and ensuring budgetary targets are met, revenue flows maximised and costs appropriately controlled in line with CCOI financial governance processes         Prudently manage the organisation's resources within budget guideline and ensure there is accurate recording of expenditure.        Support the on-going financial viability of the Community through annual review of business strategy.        Increase opportunities for the development of KCAT through grant income and new business opportunities Partnership Working and Networking        Develop appropriate relationships with external partners and other agencies to promote collaboration, generate opportunities and support the future plans and possibilities.        Provide required returns and business information to CCoI and other partner agencies in a timely manner.        To serve as the spokesperson and representative of KCat Arts centre in alignment with CCoI communications.
      To be aware of the legal and regulatory duties and be fully familiar with Camphill's policy and procedure relating to this area of work ensuring that all duties and responsibilities are discharged in accordance with them.        To attend meetings and training as required to improve service delivery and further professional       development.        To support and promote best practice in record keeping throughout Camphill in line with Data Protection guidelines and legislation.        To carry out other duties consistent with the post as may be required.  Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience         A 3rd level qualification in arts management, education or social care, or equivalent relevant qualification or experience in education, arts, health or allied field.
        At least 3 years of senior management experience at a similar level of responsibility including demonstrative experience strategic planning         Demonstrable experience of networking with External Funding partners (in particular the Arts Council and Leargas) and other learning opportunities.
        Experience in working with adults with an intellectual disability/ autism         The ability to successfully facilitate, supervise and work alongside adults with support needs and volunteers, meeting agreed artistic goals.
        Ability to plan, set goals, budgets, present and refine and implement such plans both short and long term, either individual or for the overall project         Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive & Teams.
