The Role We are looking for an ambitious Associate to join our growing Corporate Development team on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, willing to learn, and will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
You will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the wider Corporate Development team, and contribute to strategy, planning, analysis, and implementation for a variety of commercial initiatives from new product launches to partnerships and mergers & acquisitions.
You will work closely with multiple business functions and will gain exposure to all corporate development projects, having significant Director-level interaction.
This is a new and exciting position, which will suit someone who wants to grow in a busy and challenging corporate development role.
If you have a minimum of 2 years PQE, are a strategic and analytical thinker as well as being a hands-on "doer", this could be the role for you.
Your New Key Role Responsibilities You will be supporting the Corporate Development strategy and will do this by: Creating and developing high-quality financial models that will enable decision-making for new products and projects Researching new business opportunities and leading financial and valuation analysis for these Assisting in the preparation and presentation of business cases for approval Coordinating with internal teams to ensure business / investment cases and commercial proposals are completed on time Supporting the Chief Commercial Officer in rapid, profitable delivery of successful new initiatives, with a particular focus on research and quantitative analysis Supporting in defining product requirements, features, benefits, and regulatory requirements with internal teams Working with internal teams to build and execute to project plans, and gathering key learnings to be shared Analysing and assessing project results and help implement learnings to drive improvement Essential Skills & Experience Candidates will have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience gained in an investment bank, a corporate finance division of a large accounting or consulting firm, or within the M&A / strategy function of a corporate organisation.
Undergraduate degree.
Confident and experienced in financial modelling, valuation analysis and commercial analysis.
Highly numerate, with proven analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply financial analysis to commercial issues.
Confident working under own initiative as well as being a strong team player.
The ability to establish credibility in working with senior management and collaborating with others.
Excellent attention to detail, commitment to the job and a strong results-driven work ethic.
Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
