Due to ongoing growth, our client, a market leading business, have an exciting opportunity for a CSRD / ESG Manager who will work with the Senior Management of the business to manage the delivery of the new ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, based on a deep understanding of the Group's strategic objectives, its Sustainability strategy, and the needs and interests of it's key partners. You will work with the Senior leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive ESG strategy and continue to monitor and implement on ongoing change The role will include: Support in setting up project structure, workflows, and co-ordination of data collection effort (including detailed project plans) across departments to gather relevant qualitative and quantitative information. Lead the preparation, review, and publication of ESG / CSRD reports, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ESRS, TCFD, GRI, SASB). Stay updated on evolving regulatory requirements and industry-standard processes in ESG / CSRD reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, internal partners and act as the main point of contact regarding ESG / CSRD reporting matters. Support the CSRD leadership team to storyboard and build the plan, regular updates (ESG Steering Committee and the Board). Manage and lead the year-end disclosures required under ESG / CSRD including managing external auditors (who will undertake limited assurance engagement). Work with a team of professionals responsible for CSRD reporting, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality outputs and professional growth. The person will have: An Accountancy Qualification would be preferred. 4+ years experience with an accountancy firm, bank or corporate, with a preference for 1+ years ESG / Sustainability / CSRD reporting experience. Proven experience in reporting processes and in ensuring that published information is appropriately validated; Ideally some relevant experience of interpreting and applying accounting and ESG standards; Knowledge of and interest in dominant ESG issues and ESG global reporting standards; Experience and strong proficiency in the use of systems, data collection technologies, and reporting software; Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise and effective manner. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to be proactive, delivery focused and handle a range of contending priorities and tight delivery timelines; Ability to work both on own initiative and as part of a team with an interest in developing colleagues within the team Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external partners including regulators, investors, and rating agencies Skills: ESG CSRD Auditing Financial Reporting Advisory Benefits: Work From Home
