This international law and professional services firm in Dublin 1 are recruiting a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic and growing Finance team on a 12-month contract.This role offers a unique chance to be part of a supportive team, contributing to various elements of the finance function within a company that values diversity and empowerment.Key Responsibilities: Daily processing of invoices for all fee-earning departments, ensuring accurate recording of VAT.Interaction with multiple teams to clarify billing rules and regulations.Assist teams with the editing of time recordings and carry out reconciliations for WIP and AR as required.Prepare and set up payments for payment run twice monthly and prepare credit card reconciliation monthly.Ensure all supplier accounts are reconciled and payments are up to date.Prepare bank reconciliations for client and office accounts and attend the bank with lodgements.Verification and set up of new payees on the banking system.
Key Skills and Requirements: Experience: 3+ years as an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant with broad experience covering AP, Billing & Banks.Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills.Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using MS Office suite with strong Excel skills is essential.Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as a team member.Attention to Detail: Tact and diplomacy to deal with confidential matters.Workload Management: Manage a complex and demanding workload with the ability to prioritise tasks.Law Firm Experience: Advantageous but not essential.
