The successful candidate will operate a flatbed rigid truck equipped with a crane, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
While crane experience is preferred, comprehensive training will be provided to candidates who demonstrate the right skills and attitude.
This role requires a professional with strong logistical expertise, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to customer service.
Responsibilities: Operate a flatbed rigid truck with an attached crane to deliver construction materials to various building sites across Munster.
Load and unload materials using the crane, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Maintain accurate delivery records and manage necessary documentation.
Liaise with site managers and clients to ensure deliveries are completed to satisfaction.
Comply with all road traffic regulations and company policies regarding vehicle operation.
Requirements: Valid C-class driving licence and up-to-date CPC certification.
Experience driving flatbed rigid trucks, ideally with crane operations.
Previous experience delivering to construction sites is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Munster region and local road networks.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Physical fitness and the ability to manage heavy lifting.
