Position: Graduate Automation Engineer Location: Galway Salary: €30,000 - €40,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Graduate Automation Engineer in Galway! About Our Client: Our client, a leading company based in Galway, is seeking a motivated Graduate Automation Engineer to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain valuable experience and develop their careers in automation engineering. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the design, development, and implementation of automation systems to optimize production processes. Support the programming and configuration of PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems. Troubleshoot and help resolve issues with automation equipment and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of automation solutions. Participate in the maintenance and updates of automation systems to ensure optimal performance. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and systems under supervision. Provide technical support and assist in training production and maintenance teams. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to innovative automation solutions. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Knowledge of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to learn and develop new skills in automation engineering.
