HR Technology and Operations Director The Global HR Technology & Operations Director will drive the execution of our established global HR technology strategy (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, LMS, Time and Attendance, Payroll, Survey Tools, etc.
), ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across regions.
This role will focus on addressing system gaps, implementing clear system roadmaps, and enhancing system efficiencies, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
Additionally, the Director will lead a high-performing team, foster vendor partnerships, and optimize HR technology solutions to support core HR processes.
The role will also oversee HR servicing functions, including HR Analytics and Compliance.
The role reports to the Chief HR Officer.
Responsibilities include Execute and refine the established strategy and roadmap to optimize the people technology & reporting across functions (e.g.
HRIS, analytics tools, survey tools etc.)
ensuring scalability and innovation.
Lead and empower a team of HR Technology, Reporting & Compliance professionals, driving their success, while increasing the team's capabilities in the areas of HRIS Configuration, Talent Administration, Data Analytics, Compliance processes and other core operations functions.
Oversee HRIS systems and workflows to ensure data accuracy, effective and compliant record-keeping, accurate and timely payroll and benefits processing, operational efficiency, and adherence to HR regulations and policies.
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of our HRIS, data accuracy, , global processes, and tools, identifying gap and opportunities for ongoing improvement and optimization.
Leverage and implement best practices for global HR Applications such as but not limited to, SuccessFactors, Time & Attendance, Payroll.
Ownership of preparing and submitting the Group HR budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals & CHROs, and monitor monthly expenditures to ensure actual spend remains within budget, addressing any variances proactively.
Prepare the budget for HR Technology projects in collaboration with IT PMO and IT HR Applications and others as applicable, ensuring alignment with CHROs and regional CFOs before submission for CAPEX approval process.
Ensure system and people processes are well documented, regularly updated, and effectively communicated, while partnering with the L&D team and functional COEs to provide thorough end-user training.
Function as an internal consultant on Technology with regards to People Strategy, Talent Management, Compensation, and Leadership.
Stay current with innovative HR practices and informed on best-in class practices to improve operations effectiveness, as well as local and regional compliance requirements to ensure alignment of operational service delivery and processes.
Management of vendor relationships, representing the business, HR and service needs, in close collaboration with IT and Procurement Review and maintain the governance mechanism to support decision making, assigning accountability, resource allocation for key systems (e.g.
T&A, payroll, SuccessFactors) across our regions and businesses.
Overseeing and enforcing standards for HR processes, HR data-driven reporting, HRIS technology sourcing, vendor agreements, software products, IT security, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
Reporting Insights & Analytics Partner with the HR team to monitor and continuously improve the established People Analytics strategy and roadmap.
Oversee the ongoing execution of the continuous listening program to provide comprehensive insights and actionable stories about our people, driving data-informed decisions.
Proactively consult with leaders to understand business and people challenges and turn them into strategic people analytics projects or programs.
Ability to navigate across diverse cultures, resolve conflicts, and make decisions by fostering consensus and collaboration.
Creating and maintaining data, reporting, dashboards, etc.
including identifying and closing data gaps and needs in order to provide insights to leadership.
Design, develop and provide regular executive level reports/stories for use in Leadership Team Meetings to drive progressive dialogue and action to enhance the team member experience.
HR Services Provide leadership and direct line-management for the team members responsible for delivering HR Analytics and HR Compliance services.
Ensure compliance and hold risk ownership for HR Data, access rights and HR related SoX controls.
Professional requirements Industry background in manufacturing, retail or FMCG with matrix structures Exhaustive understanding and experience in implementing of HR Technology (SAP Success Factors, Payroll, Time & Attendance Systems, Survey Tools) for global enterprises.
Project management experience running, implementing, and supporting global HR projects Analytical and consultative approach to business process design and implementation providing data-driven solutions.
Experience leading a geographically dispersed team with varying levels of skills and competency.
Ability to execute with speed, agility and scale while navigating complex considerations such as data privacy, security and compliance.
Proven communication skills and the ability to articulate messages through a variety of verbal or written formats for customers up through senior leadership.
Ability to navigate a matrixed work environment.
Ability to drive analysis to understand the root cause(s) and resolution once the cause has been identified.
Highly motivated – willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, even in situations where the work is outside of the scope of your respective role.
Education, Training, Computer skills Preferred - Bachelor's degree in  Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience in leading HR functions Proven experience working with HR technologies (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, SAP ECC, UKG, ADP) and data-driven HR strategies.
Track record of implementing strategic HR technology and initiatives such as organizational development, diversity & inclusion programs, or change management projects.
Track record of strategic HR technology and initiatives for global enterprises (SAP SuccessFactors , Payroll and Time and Attendance Applications).
Skilled in managing a geographically dispersed team and solid experience in working in a virtual team Proven ability to work in a cross-functional team in a multicultural organisation
