Title and Summary Lead Product Manager - Technical Overview
Be part of the Mastercard Technology Fraud Products team developing new capabilities for Mastercard's Decision Management Platform, which serves as the core for multiple business solutions to combat fraud and validate cardholder identity.
The Lead Product Manager - Technical (PMT) position will be a key member of the Decision Authentication and Enrichment (DAE) group, responsible for working with the customer base to understand, capture, and document their business requirements.
The ideal Lead PMT candidate will:
Have a strong technical background, ideally an ex-software developer who has transitioned into product management. Fully learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems supporting the DMP platform. Have a strong appreciation for the software development lifecycle. Have a strong Product Management background with at least 3 to 7 years of experience. Display a strong understanding and experience in the mechanics of product management. Have strong business acumen regarding the DMP platform's core vision. Possess superb communication skills, both written and verbal. Be curious and capable of understanding customer needs beyond their initial requests. Be capable of understanding, documenting, and communicating solutions to stakeholders. Be a team player and enhance the collaborative culture of the DMP team. Be capable of managing a large volume of engineering work information. As a leader, be capable of mentoring and guiding other PMTs.
