Operational Excellence Manager

Continuous Improvement Manager - Food Our client, one of Irelands most recognisable names in the food space are looking to add an experienced Continuous Improvment Manager to their team in Cork.
In this role you will be joining a state of the art facility which is going through a large amount of investment and improvemnt as well as being part of the leadership team who will drive change and strategy moving forward.
Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Director you will have a strong influence in the development of the site.
The ideal candidate for this role will have considerable experience in the operations improvement space as well as experience in leading similar continuous improvement projects.
Key Areas of Responsibility: Overall ownership of site OpEx Programme Lead, facilitate & support all continuous improvement projects & activities Identify and drive operational process improvement initiatives Development of "standards & tools" pertaining to best-in-class OpEx methodologies Facilitation of OpEx related forums Application of statistical techniques, lean manufacturing tools, six sigma, Coach & mentor site team in OpEx methodologies & the practical application of sameKey Requirements & competencies: 3rd Level Qualification in Process / Mechanical Engineering or Food/Dairy Science Lean Six Sigma black belt qualification or equivalent.
