About the Job As a social enterprise, FoodClouds impact depends on the balance of growing revenue alongside achieving our environmental and social mission.
The Partnerships Director is a key senior leadership position responsible for the development and management of FoodClouds partnerships with the food industry, food banks, and community organisations.
The role is critical in shaping FoodCloud's future by advancing its strategic objectives, growing its impact, and ensuring financial sustainability.
Working closely with the CEO and leadership team, the Partnerships Director will develop and execute long-term plans to strengthen FoodClouds core proposition for partners, enabling the organisation to deliver on its mission while achieving both impact and revenue targets.
Key Duties KeyAccountabilities: Provideinspirationalleadershiptoateamofover20colleagues Lead the organisations commercial and impact-driven partnership activities, focusing on retail, food industry, food banks, and community organisations, and engaging with institutions, including FEBA and GFN.
CollaboratewiththeCEOandleadershipteamto develop and execute strategic plans that align with FoodClouds mission, vision and financial sustainability goals.
Lead the creation andexecutionofthecommercialandpartnershipsstrategy,aligningitwith the overall organisational strategy.
Developascalablebusinessandrevenuemodeltoensuresustainedgrowth.
Identifyandcultivatenewcommercialopportunitieswithexistingandpotentialpartners, striving for mutual benefit.
EstablishandmaintainServiceLevelAgreements(SLAs)withpartners,ensuringclearexpectations and quality service delivery.
Leadthecreationoftenderandproposaldocumentsfornewpartnershipopportunities.
Oversee the development and management of partnership programmes,providingstrategic supporttoaccountmanagersforpartnershipsinnewmarkets,includinglowand middle-income countries.
Collaboration with Product & Technology Teams: Oversee the Foodiverse Solutions Team to enhance service delivery through technology, ensuring efficiency and ease for customers.
ServeasakeystakeholderinthedevelopmentandstrategicdirectionofFoodiverse, FoodCloudstechnologyplatform,ensuringtheplatformsupportstheorganisations objectives.
Work closely with the product, technology, and operations teams to ensure the technology is effectively integrated into FoodClouds service offerings.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a large team across multiple functions, providing guidance to ensure key partner accounts are effectively managed and partnership goals are achieved.
Fostercollaborationandcommunicationacrossteams,promotingapositiveandinclusive organisational culture aligned with FoodClouds values.
Ensurehighstandardsofinternalcommunication,keepingallfunctionsinformedand engaged, while maintaining positive collaboration across teams.
Foster an inclusive, trusting, and productive work environment, ensuring positive collaborationbetweenteamsandalignmentwithFoodCloudsorganisationalculture.

Strategic Leadership: Lead FoodCloud to deliver a best-in-class proposition for all partners, aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.
Bethevoiceoffooddonors,foodbanksandcharitypartnerswithinFoodCloud,ensuring these partners' needs are understood and prioritised across the organisation.
RepresentFoodCloudsvisionandvaluesinexternalpartnershipsandinternalleadership, contributing to a positive work environment.
Supportthecreationofcommunicationsstrategiesincollaborationwithmarketingand communications functions to advance partnership objectives.
ReporttotheCEOandBoardofDirectorsonprogressagainstpartnershipstrategiesand financial targets.
Operational Management: Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant legislation, and internal requirements.
Oversee budget management for the partnerships team, ensuring financial efficiency.
Other General Duties: Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure the efficient delivery of services.
Completedocumentationandreportingasrequired,includingdevelopingandmaintaining partner contracts , maintaining a professional approach at all times.
Qualifications and Skills Proven experience as a Partnerships Director or in a similar leadership role, ideally within the food sector, technology sector and/or a mission-driven or social enterprise environment.
Strongrelationshipmanagementandnetworkingskills,coupledwithleadershipand problem-solving abilities.
Relevant degree or masters qualification.
