This Procurement Associate Role will be supporting Development & Commercialization Solutions including Translations, Patient Recruitment and Decentralized Trials.
What you will be doing? Vendor Management: Category Management of the day-to-day relationship with assigned vendors and assigned categories to meet our customer needs including performance management.Development of longer-term vendor relationships and contracts.Quality/Process improvement efforts/Continuous Improvement.Plan and execute cost-reduction initiatives that produce tangible results in line with department goals.Working with Procurement Management to act as key internal lead in any issue escalation/issue resolution discussions/solutions.Developing strong relationships with key ICON & Vendor stakeholders and act as the focal point for all issues relating to assigned vendors to contain any risk regarding potential situations affecting operations or contractual issues.Principal point of contact with assigned vendors.Procurement: Meet individual performance goals/objectives as agreed with Procurement Management.Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which centre on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.Ensure adherence to PRO001-SOP & PRO001-POL (ICON Global Supplier Management and Procurement policy) and contribute to ICON's culture of continuous improvement.Drive projects relating to continuous improvement with active involvement and positive contribution to the success of the Global Procurement department and ICON.Assist other Global Procurement team members by providing relief & back-up, when required in the day-to-day running of the department and contributing to the achievement of its Goals/Objectives & KPI's.Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.Your Profile: 1-3 years in similar procurement or other business support function e.g. customer contracts, proposals.Strong communication skills.Experience working with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.Strong organizational and administration skills and experience.What ICON can offer you:
