We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our growing Operations Department. This role is based on site in our distillery in Skibbereen and will report directly to the Head of Business Operations.
What you'll do..
Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the cost effective continuous supply of high quality raw materials and packaging materials Lead the Dry Goods team and provide training and support as needed Manage supplier relationships including contract negotiation, supplier performance evaluation and issue resolution Source and evaluate new suppliers and products to ensure costs are controlled Sourcing of new packaging, glass and other dry goods items ensuring that all packaging solutions are of good quality, cost effective and sustainable as well as meeting functional, aesthetic and regulatory requirements Collaborate with all teams across the business (Production, Finance, Marketing, Quality and New Product Development) to implement aligned procurement strategies Produce weekly and monthly procurement analysis reports for the senior management team and board reports as required highlighting opportunities and threats Ensure our suppliers meet our sustainability and ethical trading requirements What you'll have.. Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or a related field is essential Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within the manufacturing sector Strong leadership and management skills Excellent knowledge of procurement software Strong interpersonal skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality control standards in a manufacturing environment We Offer..
