Reporting directly to the Operations Director, this is your chance to make a real impact by optimizing performance, coaching and developing staff, and creating a positive and productive work environment.
You'll be part of a young and dynamic Sr Mgt team who will be really keen to hear your ideas and suggestions.
Your Role: Lead and Inspire: Reporting to the Ops Director as Production Manager you will manage and motivate a team of 35-45 including supervisors and operators across 2-3 production lines, encouraging cross-training and multi-skilling to enhance efficiency.
Strategic Problem-Solver: Use your technical and leadership skills to troubleshoot, guide problem-solving, and ensure timely and effective resolution of production challenges.
Performance Focused: Drive production KPIs, manage labor allocation, and improve factory efficiency while keeping an eye on cost control.
Collaborate and Communicate: Ensure seamless communication between your team, senior management, and other departments to achieve shared goals.
People-Centred Leadership: Engage with your team, uphold respect and dignity at work, and take the lead in recruitment and HR support activities.
Who We're Looking For: 2-5 years of experience in a similar Production Manager job.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience in managing diverse workforces Excellent organizational, planning, and technical problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A solid understanding of production processes and management principles.
