QUALITY CONTROLLER The role: The role of a technical assistant is to maintain HACCP procedures and quality control daily and support the Technical Manager in daily tasks.

Work with the specifications as per customers and suppliers requirements Communicate product quality with suppliers and site management.
Monitoring and reporting of quality standards to site management daily (raw material stock and pre-pack stock) Maintain full traceability of stock from intake to dispatch Liaise with all relevant site management with regard to customer requirements and product quality issues Logging supplier performance Carry out hygiene/GMP audits Ensuring HACCP and BRCGS principles are continuously met for product safety and process control Carry out internal audits.
Assisting staff with information with respect to product quality, legality, and hygiene Assisting the Technical Manager in resolving any quality issues or other tasks where necessary Assisting the Technical Manager with audits such as BRCGS, Bord Bia, Global Gap and customer audits You will also be expected to carry out any additional duties that may be assigned to you by the Organisation from time to time Key Skills and Competencies: Qualifications/Experience A degree in Food Science or similar is desired but not essential.
Full training will be provided to the right candidate Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the food industry Experience in Food Safety audits Key Behaviors /Abilities Ability to work on your own initiative, work independently and have the ability to work under pressure.
