Quality Supervisor

Our client, a leader in the recycling and manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Supervisor to join their team.
This role will be responsible for managing quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for quality, and the ability to promote environmental responsibility across the organization.
Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance policies and procedures.
Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 14001 (Environmental) standards.
Manage and conduct internal and external audits, including third-party certifications.
Facilitate the preparation and completion of quality reports and documentation.
Address and resolve customer complaints, inquiries, and quality-related issues.
Lead initiatives to analyze quality data, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
Oversee approval processes for new raw materials and product specifications.
Implement and uphold the RecyClass certification for recycling standards.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot quality challenges.
Promote a culture of quality and environmental responsibility within the company.
Requirements Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred).
Minimum of 5 years in a quality assurance role, ideally within the recycling or manufacturing sector.
Solid experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, and familiarity with ISO 45001 is advantageous.
Proficiency in quality management software and analytical tools.
Strong communication skills with an ability to mentor and train quality staff.
Certification in Quality Management (CQE, CQA) is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
Proven track record in managing audits and leading continuous improvement projects.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining high standards.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on cost-effective solutions.
