Quality Supervisor

The Quality Supervisor will oversee the quality assurance processes within the company, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant accreditations.
This role involves managing quality control procedures, conducting audits, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of product quality and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities: Quality Management: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) standards.
Manage the integrated ISO 9001 & 14001 management system and audits.
Advise on all customer day-to-day related complaints and enquiries Audits and Inspections: Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Prepare for and facilitate third-party audits and certifications.
Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Putting a hold on non-conforming product Releasing product to customers which meets quality standards Approval of new raw material lines Determining product specifications for new product introduction Introduce and implement the RecyClass certification Process Improvement: Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement and cost savings.
Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Training and Development: Train and mentor quality assurance staff on quality standards and procedures.
Develop and deliver training programs on ISO standards and requirements.
Promote a culture of quality and environmental responsibility within the organization.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records.
Prepare and present quality reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure all quality-related documentation is compliant with regulatory requirements.
Complete any customer related documentation required Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
(preferable) Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the recycling or manufacturing industry.
(preferable) Experience with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
Skills: Strong knowledge of quality management systems Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
Strong communication skills.
Certification in Quality Management (e.g., CQE, CQA) is preferred.
Familiarity with other relevant standards and certifications (e.g., ISO 45001 for Occupational Health and Safety).
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
