Access Talent Group are collaborating with an award-winning global consultancy who are seeking a Resident Engineer for a significant road/cycling/active travel initiative in the eastern part of Galway City commencing in Summer 2024.
This role will entail on-site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities, working closely with a full-time Senior Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Inspector.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.Experience in supervising and inspecting the construction of roadworks including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, lighting, etc.Eagerness to pursue Chartered Engineer status.Ability to work as part of a team and also independently and under own initiative to achieve project goals.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.In return our client offers; Competitive salary based on experience, provision of a vehicle for the duration of the project, 25 days of annual leave and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
