Senior Authorised Person

NES Fircroft are currently recruiting for the position of Senior Authorised Person/Person in Charge of Works, for High Voltage tests based in West Ireland.

This vacancy is a contract vacancy and will be for 15 days spread over a 12 week duration - perfect for someone looking for additional projects.

Skills & Knowledge RequirementsA proven track record of working on and around the High Voltage distribution network.Sound understanding of engineering policy, procedure and legislation in addition to sound decision making skills.Strong interpersonal skills.Able to identify and develop processes within operations to improve outputs and measure success.The ability to communicate and engage with internal and external stakeholders.Competent 11kV, 33kV or 132kV SAP on an established DNO Distribution Network.Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.Knowledge of current legislation relating to Health, Safety and Environment.Ability to work within budget and within programmed timescales.Ability to work within a team environment including clients, designers and project staff.Additional InformationQualified to HNC / Degree Level in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Candidates with other recognised qualifications will be considered if they can demonstrate they have worked in a similar environment.
