Our client in D2, a progressive and forward-thinking professional services firm, is seeking a Senior Manager for their Audit and Accounts Department.

Job Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries, working closely with senior stakeholders such as Directors, Financial Controllers, and Senior Executives.
Proactively manage client expectations, including non-audit transactional work, due diligence, management accounts, and providing financial advice.
Deliver accountancy services, including: Reviewing monthly/quarterly management accounts Reviewing unaudited year-end statutory accounts Advising clients on systems of financial control Providing company secretarial advice and ensuring compliance, including maintaining company registers and minutes where required Help drive the firm's accounting technology strategy and project manage the implementation of new accounting solutions.
Assist in managing the financial performance of the team, including fee billing, cash collection, and monitoring work in progress (WIP) recoverability.
Coach, mentor, and appraise junior staff members to support their professional development.
Experience Required: Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience (ACA or ACCA), with at least 5 years in a practice environment.
Strong technical knowledge and experience in financial/management accounts.
Proven management skills with excellent organisational and communication abilities.
Experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
Desirable Skills: Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar.
Experience with AI-based accounting software and tools, as well as implementing new technologies for clients.
Enthusiastic and solution-oriented approach to client management.
Educational Requirements: ACA or ACCA qualified, with at least 7 years post-qualification experience.
Working Hours & Benefits: 21 days annual leave, plus additional leave for long service.
Flexible working arrangements, including the option to work from home up to two days per week.
Summer hours with early Friday finishes during July and August.
