OurEngineeringteam are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site inAthenry.AsaSr.Process Engineering Manager,you willbe responsible forstrategic oversight and leadership direction ofProcessEngineering andestablishingabest in classteam as a part of Manufacturing Operations with the primary goal of meeting manufacturing goals within the Quality System.
Where you come in:
You will manage and supervise resources in process development, product transfer, and process improvement to enhance product quality, decrease cost, and improve manufacturing efficiencies.
Youwill work together with the Manufacturing Managers to ensure the manufacturing processes meet production targets against lowest cost, according to planning and quality requirements.
You will resolveescalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
You will check technical accuracy of work, ensure Design of Experiments (DOE) areappropriate, and review statistical methods used to estimate future manufacturing requirements,productionand field performance data.
You will provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
You will give input into developing the budget.
You will beinvolved in the cross-functional team discussions andmeetings
You will build, guide, and enhance the engineering team to meet future needs.You willworkto engage employees to gain work efficiencies and perform performance reviews.
You will champion and lead change initiatives;identifythe best approach for implementing process, implementing root cause analyses andproblem solvingsystems such as DMAIC, A3, Lean Six Sigma across the sustaining engineering team, Product Focus Team (PFT) and beyond.
You will oversee and review design specifications, drawings, and other project documents such as URS, FNS, SDS, etc.
You will develop and execute testplans, andcontrols related validation protocols.You will review the report write up to ensure equipment/processes meet part/assembly specifications and regulatory requirements.
You will support the hiring, training, and mentoring of the engineeringteam
You willassumeand perform other duties as assigned.
What makes you successful:
You haveknowledge related to product, process, and equipment used in ahigh volumemanufacturing environment
You have a demonstrated ability to work in team environment across multiple functionalgroups
Youare abletoeffectivelymanagemultiple concurrent projects and conflictingpriorities
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 13+ years of industry experience
5-8 years of previous people management experience
Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma experience isrequired.
You have excellent team-oriented communication and organizationalskills
