Details of the offer

What's the Opportunity Daft.ie is Ireland's largest property portal, with a mission to make buying and selling property simple for everyone across the country. With over 3 million users visiting our website and apps every month, we're driven by the opportunity to enhance the home buying and selling experience. If you're excited to do impactful work that reaches hundreds of thousands of people daily, this could be the perfect role for you.

We're looking for an experienced and accomplished strategic Senior Product Manager to join our Daft Product Team. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Daft and creating outstanding experiences for our users. Your mission will be to discover and deliver products to support our strategic objectives, demonstrating product strategies that align with our objectives to drive both user satisfaction and business growth.

As a senior member of our team, you'll own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to execution—fostering a collaborative approach across Design, Engineering and Marketing, and Commercial to build products our users love. Reporting to the Head of Product, you will identify new opportunities for innovation, manage complex product areas and deliver measurable results on high-visibility projects that redefine Daft's platform and the property search experience in Ireland.

Our team thrives on outcomes, innovation and continuous improvement. We're seeking someone with sharp commercial acumen who can spot untapped opportunities and has the drive to transform them into successful, user-centric products.

What will I be doing Defining Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and communicate a well-defined product vision and strategy that aligns with business goals and drives commercial success. Identify areas for innovation, user growth, and revenue generation.
Commercial Focus: Balance the needs of our users with commercial insights to create products that drive business outcomes. Understand market trends, business performance and competitive positioning to ensure your products deliver user and commercial value.
Identifying & Solving User Problems: Leverage feedback from our users, market research and competitor analysis to uncover problems and opportunities for us to solve through tooling.
Data-informed Product Decisions: Use data to support product decisions, through tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and SQL to optimise product performance, test hypotheses, and deliver maximum impact.
Entrepreneurial Approach: Be a proactive problem solver with an inquisitive nature. Spot opportunities, build strong cases for new product investments, and bring a creative and entrepreneurial spirit to how we approach product development.
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Lead collaboration with our partners across Engineering, Design, Commercial, and Marketing to ensure seamless product delivery. Develop strong relationships and be the product expert in all relevant discussions.
Managing Product Backlog & Roadmap: Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing short-term user needs with long-term strategies. Ensure features are clearly defined, scoped, and delivered on time.
Delivering Outcomes & Measuring Success: Define, track, and report on important metrics and outcomes for your products. Continuously iterate based on performance data and user feedback to optimise growth and user happiness.
Driving Go-to-Market Strategies: Work with marketing and commercial teams to craft effective go-to-market strategies that maximise product adoption, customer engagement, and commercial returns.
Managing Senior Stakeholders: Through clear concise communication throughout a delivery lifecycle, keep stakeholders informed and engaged from inception to delivery.
Mentoring: Demonstrate leadership and mentorship to other product managers and cross-functional teams, supporting a culture of innovation, accountability, and excellence.
What skills and experience do I need 8+ Years of Product Management Experience: Strong track record in product management, ideally in digital marketplaces or similar environments, with a focus on driving commercial outcomes.
Strategic & Commercial Approach: Ability to develop and align product visions that deliver both user value and strong commercial results. Demonstrated success in identifying new business opportunities, scaling products, and driving revenue growth.
User-Centric Approach: Demonstrated experience in understanding user needs and problems, applying qualitative and quantitative research methods to develop solutions that delight users while balancing commercial objectives.
Data-Driven Approach: Proven ability to use data and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or equivalent) to extract actionable insights, inform product strategy, and drive continuous optimisation.
Agile Product Development: Experience working in Agile environments, leading iterative product development cycles, and maintaining a user-centric approach throughout the process.
Collaboration & Partner Management: Strong communication and collaboration skills, demonstrating an ability to influence senior leaders, and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
Leadership & Mentorship: Excels guiding and mentoring less experienced team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: A proactive, innovative problem solver who is not afraid to take calculated risks to drive business growth. Experience in identifying market gaps, developing new products, and scaling initiatives.
Technical Fluency: Comfortable working closely with developers, with a solid understanding of technical concepts and their impact on product decisions.
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable outcomes, meet key performance indicators, and ensure both user and business needs are met.
Strong UX and Design Sensibility: An eye for great design and user experience, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and ensure that products deliver a seamless and intuitive user journey.
