We are currently recruiting for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team looking after all commercial aspects of the quantity surveying department.
The successful candidate will be a valuable part of our business, leading the way commercially and having full accountability for their projects including both pre and post-contract commercial functions and contract reporting.

  Responsibilities: Contribute to achieving the optimum commercial result through the provision of accurate financial reporting.
Providing guidance and support to junior team members.
Manage subcontract packages, overseeing payments to subcontractors, suppliers and consulting along with normal QS duties.
Prepare the cost / value reconciliation reports accurately.
Managing standard construction contract forms, including variations and final account agreements Supervising and managing the accurate and timely project delivery reporting to the Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Ensure subcontract orders are prepared in accordance with company procedures.
Attending meetings with the client, design teams, subcontractors and specialist subcontractors Qualifications ; Quantity Surveying Degree or similar with 5+ years' post-graduate experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Significant experience in main contracting market.
Experience managing subcontract accounts.
Experience working with PWC form of contract.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, able to gather, interpret, and present data to facilitate the preparation of budgets and subsequent valuations.
Proficient in Excel and Cubit.
Methodical, conscientious and organized, works to deliver high standards.
