Autism Support Worker

Dara are seeking an Autism Support Worker to assist two gentlemen with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities to live active lives in their community in North County Dublin.
This role involves supporting each person with all activities of daily life in their home.
The Autism Support Worker is primarily responsible providing personal care and support including assistance with personal care - showering, dressing, grooming and support in their home including cooking, laundry, shopping, accessing local facilities.
Sleepover and full supervised care at all times is required.
Ability to deal with behaviours of distress, and support people whom are non verbal is a requirement.
Must have a healthcare qualification and experience of residential care for adults with Autism.
Hours of work are 39 hours per week.
