FamiliBase is a centre for children, young people and families based in Dublin 10. FamiliBase has three strands of service delivery i.e. Early Years and Afterschool, Child and Family and Youth and Community. FamiliBase operates an integrated model of practice. Programme delivery in FamiliBase occurs at different levels i.e. from universal level to intensive wrap around for those with multiple or more complex needs. FamiliBase could be described as a 'one stop shop' of supports for children, young people and families.
FamiliBase are seeking to recruit the following:
1. Early Years & After-school Practitioner (Part Time)1.1 ECCE Room LeaderTo manage the day-to-day running of the room and ensure the highest quality of care is provided to children and families. Support families and staff to ensure that the particular needs of children are met, and that parental choice is considered in terms of care given. Plan, implement and review development programmes in line with the Aistear framework and the Siolta principles. Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.
A recognised qualification, minimum FETAC/ QQI level 6 that is approved under the Early Years (Pre-school) Regulations.A minimum of one year's experience of leading an ECCE room.Experience of implementing Aistear and Siolta framework.2. Early Years & Afterschool PractitionerTo support and assist in the provision of full-time day care of the highest quality. Experience in working within a play-based service and a working knowledge of applying Aistear and Siolta to curriculum planning and practice.
Support children's developments – emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.Conduct observations & learning stories for assigned child/children.Perform other reasonable and relevant duties as may be assigned from time to time.Essential CriteriaA recognised qualification (minimum FETAC/ QQI level 5) that is approved under the Early Years (Pre-school) Regulations.Experience of working with children for a minimum of 6 months is essential.Knowledge of implementing Aistear and Siolta Frameworks in the early year's environment.Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications
Hours: 20 Hours part time positions
